Laulima aims to raise knowledge and awareness of native Hawaiian flora and fauna while supporting their conservation. It is our kuleana to care for and appreciate the precious plants and animals with which we share our home.
Owner Danya Weber spends her time restoring native Hawaiian forests on Oʻahu. She previously worked for the Kauaʻi Forest Bird Recovery Project and Hawaiʻi VINE Project.
Artist Kayleigh Chalkoski aims to bridge the gap between art and science. She has worked with the Kauaʻi Endangered Seabird Recovery Project and Hanalei Wildlife Refuge. She is now studying parasites carried by feral cats with the University of Auburn.
